‘Time Factory’ is a short single-player physics puzzle platformer game, and was made in two weeks as part of a “Marmalade”.
In the game, you play as a little prototype robot that wants to escape the factory. You do so by manipulating the surrounding objects by either slowing them down or speeding them up. With this ability, you traverse the factory to try and escape it.
Marmalade
A ‘Marmalade’ — a spin-off of the concept ‘game jam’ — is a game that is made in around two weeks by a small team of students with a certain theme. (Time Factory being one of the games that I worked during the block of multiples marmalades.)
The goal of a marmalade was to rapidly go through the production phases of creating a game. Learning about product ownership, scrum planning, rapid concepting, and working within a small multidisciplinary team.
